Five Jams for Friday :: Part Dos

I love music.  I love new music.  I love new music that I can put on my iPod and run to.

And I bet you do too.

So I bring you Five Jams for Friday :: Part Dos.

{You can check out the original Five Jams for Friday here.}

And like before, some of this music may be old, some new – it’s mostly just stuff that I can’t get enough of.

Looking for more? Check out my YouTube.

#1 Empire of the Sun – Walking on a Dream

This is the perfect mid-run song.  Relax and lengthen the stride.

Lyrics: “We are always running for the thrill of it, thrill of it
always pushing up the hill, searching for the thrill of it”

Ahhh, yeah.

#2 Electric Guest – This Head I Hold

Just try and not move when this comes on.

#3 The Concept – Gimme Twice

“I’m the one, I’m the one for you!”  Makes me want to throw my arms out and run like in the movies.

Yeah, I’m a dorkus.

#4 Wild Belle – Take Me Away

Another good tune once you’ve found your stride.

# 5 Foxy Shazam – Holy Touch

It took me a couple watches to get over this absolutely ridiculous video [haha].  Good song, though.

Bonus: Kimbra – Two Weeks/Head Over Heels Mash Up

This is the chick from Gotye’s Somebody I Used to Know.

While I {maybe} would not run to this, I still think it’s interesting and worthy of a post.

If you don’t know Grizzly Bear’s Two Weeks, here ya go:

I’m assuming you know Head Over Heels by Tears for Fears, but if you don’t, you can google that shiz for yourself.  Dang. Get with it, dawg!

Alright! Well there you are!

Fill that iPod up, get out the door, and RUN!

Three Cheers for Friday!
